The NP-3 Wind Speed Transmitter is a device characterised by robust construction and is used to measure the speed of wind in open air. The device's special bearing and maze-like sealing allow for measurement of wind even in the case of very low speed values. The use of special bearing restricts the necessity of lubricating the device, whereas the application of anodised aluminium makes the transmitter completely resistant to corrosion and weather conditions. The device is characterised by very low energy consumption, therefore it is a perfect solution in situations when little power consumption is a critical requirement.

• wind speed measurement preceding wind power plant construction, protection of cranes, lifts, movable advertisements and other

• objects, operating and steering systems for wind power plants, atmosphere testing in meteorology, wind speed measurements on ski jumps, in seaside

The NP-3 Wind Speed Transmitter is one of the elements of the professional MDL-2009 system (Multichannel Data Logger manufactured by Far Data) used to measure windiness, the Wind Monitor used to provide information about the instances when wind has exceeded the programmed speed thresholds with the possibility of steering external devices, and of the AGROCONTROL system which allows for climate control in greenhouses.
